The UF/IFAS Florida Dairy Extension Web site is the central gateway to all online Dairy Extension material for the Florida dairy industry that has been developed and collected by University of Florida County Extension Faculty and State Faculty.
Original idea for this site by Brent Broaddus (Hillsborough County Extension) and Albert De Vries (Department of Animal Sciences). The original site was designed and developed by Albert De Vries with the help of Sama Govindaramanujam in the summer and fall of 2003. Funding for development of this site has been provided by USDA-IFAFS Grant 2001-52101-11318 "Improving Fertility of Heat-Stressed Dairy Cattle" (Pete Hansen, principal investigator).
In the summer of 2007, the site was redesigned using the Solutionsforyourlife templates by Erin McKenna Halsey of IFAS Communication Services.
